We got this in our inbox and were totally piqued by the subject of the e-mail which asked a provocative (or may be thought-provoking, depending on which side of the fence you’re on) question: Are you a real life serial bride?

Check out some of the entries we found on serial brides:

• According to the Urban Dictionary, a serial bride is someone who has been married more than two times. Typically, she is someone who idolizes the concept of marriage or immensely enjoys the wedding process. (or can not live without a man; or needs to be supported by a man)
• Confessions of a serial bride who’s had three weddings and now living with a younger man. As she says in her blog’s masthead: What can I say? I throw a great wedding?
• Pat Higgins, is 56 and getting married for the 9th time. The groom is 32 years younger than  her.
• And of course, the serial brides of all serial brides — Liz Taylor who reported started her career as a serial bride in the 1950s

Ashley Nicole is a casting associate for a major cable network in the United States looking for women to feature in their upcoming docu-series. Here’s the note she sent us. (*Note that the casting call is only for those living in the US. We just thought that with the Philippines being one of the two remaining countries in the world where divorce is still not legal, this would be of interest.)

15 million Americans have been married 3 times or more. This exciting new docu-series will focus on the most fascinating personalities from the world of multiple marriages!
