There will be a three-city tour of Human Soul: A multimedia exhibit on the fight against discrimination supported by UNDP under its HIV/AIDS Programme. The exhibit, which showcases the text and photographs of Mr. Sébastien Farcis and Mr. Romain Rivierre, can be an effective advocacy tool to lobby support for the Anti-Discrimination Bill filed in Congress and the local ordinances filed in Cebu and Davao Cities, both from MSM and TG communities and the policy- and decision-makers as well.
Transgender Filipinas have long been stereotyped as dancers and entertainers. But they are also businesswomen, candidates for political office, or human-rights advocates invited to speak at the UN headquarters in New York. This exhibit offers a multi-sensory journey to the lives of transgender Filipinas as they affirm their sexual identity, despite the rejection and discrimination they suffer from their families and society.
